Visit the Bear Creek Saloon just over the ridge in Bear Creek, to see the best show in town. Pig racing happens every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night during the summer months. (In winter, the pigs are smaller and move indoors). Each heat has 5 little piglets running through a course to see which one makes it to the end first. You don't have pig races at home (we'll bet) and these are a Montana tradition. Also lots of fun, with host Pits de Armond and his wife Lynn making sure you're well entertained. You can even feel good about gambling here, since the stakes are low, the pigs are cute (well, at least the Pollard Porker is), and most of the profit goes to scholarships.
