The Red Lodge area has some of the best fishing in Montana. A hike to one of our hidden lakes will be surprisingly productive, and the river fishing can be thrilling even in the winter. Fish from the shore, bring your waders, or fish from a boat, and experience backcountry fishing at its best. World class river fishing is an easy drive away. The Pollard can arrange a guided fishing trip, or simply direct you to the nearest rushing water or still lake. Take a day to relax in the sun and evergreens, while casting your fly out into the riffles. We can't guarantee that you'll catch one "this long!!!" but the beauty of Montana's rivers and wilds is not to be missed.
